What’s a creative arts therapist?

We are both licensed creative arts therapists, which means we are trained and licensed to provide traditional talk psychotherapy and expressive therapies (music, art, movement and drama). In our case, we’re both board-certified as music therapists, which means we can incorporate music into our work with you. If we do, that might mean anything from listening to music to writing and recording original songs. We don’t use music with everyone, but it’s a great option when words aren’t doing the job.
